What Goes Around Comes Around:
In light of recent and apparently conflicting Ohio Supreme Court opinions regarding the employment status of employees injured on the job and eligible for benefits under Ohio’s Worker’s Compensation statutes this article surveys the opinions from the Ohio courts addressing the question of whether and when an employer may terminate an employee injured on the job and no longer able to perform the essential functions of the position.
